Position Overview
Virtual Incubation Company, a technology venture development firm, invites applications for a Grant Proposal Writer/Technical Writer.​  Applicants should have strong technical writing skills and demonstrated record of funded grant proposals. Will plan, direct and monitor proposal preparation and work closely with technical team members to create compelling grant proposals based on innovative, commercially promising technologies.​ Will also review and edit required proposal components to ensure clarity and intent relative to the grant-making organization's guidelines.​ Must be able to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Must be able to concisely describe complex scientific ideas through use of a strong scientific background, critical thinking skills and logical approach. Should be able to extend across multiple scientific and engineering disciplines and be comfortable learning new subject matter.

Position Qualifications

• B.S. or higher degree; M.S. degree or higher preferred

• Self-motivated person with outstanding communication and organizational skills

• Ability to work collaboratively and independently to achieve stated goals

• Results-oriented with an understanding of the steps necessary to achieve goals by deadlines

• Experience in researching information using the library, Internet and other resources

• Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Word

• Minimum 5+ years working experience

• Experience and success in technical grant proposal writing
