This appointment continues the strengthening of VIC’s executive staff. Mr. Moghadam will work on launching new ventures to commercialize technologies in diagnostics, medical imaging, and personalized medicine.

Moghadam comes to VIC with nearly 20 years of executive leadership experience, having both founded and operated innovative businesses where he consistently brought progressive technologies to market. He has also been active in academia, most recently at Harvard Medical School engaged in Personal Genomics Research, and previously as an Executive-in-Residence at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute’s Lally School of Business Management.
Most recently, Moghadam spent six years in healthcare information technology and personal genomics, most recently as the Founder of Xovo Health and Dossia, and as co-Founder of Intel Genomics. Previously, Mr. Moghadam held executive positions at Intel and Eastman Kodak Companies as well as a principal position with the management consulting firm of CGI-AMS. He serves on the Board of Directors of Health-e Tech Pty, Resounding Health, and Best Shot Foundation. He also serves in advisory capacities to the Children’s Hospital Boston Gene Partnership Program, Robert Wood Johnson Foundation, California Healthcare Foundation, Genophen Corporation and PhotoCalorie.com. He is the author of a number of scientific and business papers, and holds 32 patents in digital imaging, microfluidics, and cryptography.
