  • Business Leader, Clete Brewer, Joins BlueInGreen as Chairman and Chief Executive Officer
    Brewer Noted for Guiding the Expansion of Small, Growing Firms

    FAYETTEVILLE, AR (April 20, 2010) – Clete Brewer has been named Chairman of the Board and Chief Executive Officer of BlueInGreen®, LLC a Fayetteville, Arkansas-based company. BlueInGreen provides innovative systems that improve and maintain water quality and create sustainable ecosystems.

     

    Brewer, a Rogers, AR resident has spent the last 8 years with Georgetown, TX based Sport Clips Inc. as part-owner and President. Sport Clips grew from 42 stores to over 670 stores during Brewer's tenure and from $15 million in 2002 revenue to over $190 million in 2009. Entrepreneur Magazine named Sport Clips one of America's 50 Fastest Growing Franchises for the past five years.

     

    Prior to Sport Clips Inc. Brewer was Chairman and CEO of StaffMark, later named Edgewater Technology, from 1994 to 2000 where Brewer helped grow the company from $12 million in revenue to over $1 billion in 1999. In 1998 he was named Entrepreneur of the Year by the University of Arkansas Walton School of Business. Brewer began his business career in 1988 when he and his father co-founded Brewer Personnel in Fayetteville, Arkansas and launched into the staffing industry.

    Brewer is a member of the Dean’s Executive Advisory Board for the Walton College of Business and has served on the boards of Virtual Incubation Corporation since 2002 and Sports Clips since 2006. BlueInGreen’s patented Supersaturated Dissolved Oxygen delivery technology has been proven to lower energy and operating costs by up to 80 percent in side-by-side comparisons to conventional oxygenation methods.
